Experience in Detail
The historic design of the Old Prague underground labyrinth creates an authentic backdrop for an absolutely unique cultural and gastronomic experience of a medieval feast with music, dance, and a juggling show.
Experience the Middle Ages on your own skin. A fakir and his snake will demonstrate their skills, you will be breathless at the spectacular fire show, let yourself be drawn into the action, and forget the twenty-first century.
For centuries, since the inn opened in 1375, kings and charlatans have come here. Often, it is said, Czech kings have come here in disguise through a secret passage from the castle to drown their sorrows over the bleak conditions in Bohemia in beer.
According to legend, Wenceslas IV, Rudolf II, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Karel Čapek, and Jaroslav Hašek were said to have drunk here. Thanks to these visits, the inn was able to be inscribed with the inscription: 'Priwileg touto me by the will of God, this inn is established as a royal inn'. It obliges the innkeeper to have good beer, otherwise, the priwileg is forfeited. Thus do I, Wenceslaus IV, king by God's will. This is also why it is said that the 'King of Brabant' is one of the oldest inns in Prague that has been open almost continuously.
This medieval program awaits you every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

- 2 beverages of your choice (homemade children's beer, bottled Moravian wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea)

- Grilled meats: chicken fried steak, neck steak, meat skewers, chicken wings, marinated pork ribs, roasted knuckle with horseradish and mustard, sauces, and baked potatoes.

- Unlimited drinks! (Pilsner Urquell, home-made children's beer, bottled Moravian wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea)

- Dessert: gingerbread and eggnog
- 2 drinks per person: Unfiltered dark beer from our own brewery, Pilsner Urquell, Moravian wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea.
